Mobility Matters Foundation

Mobility Matters Foundation

We partner with the Mobility Matters Foundation to meet the needs of communities. The mission of the Mobility Matters Foundation is to increase accessibility and acquisition by enhancing the quality of life in individuals within their home and community by providing durable medical equipment, through education, providing resources, and advocacy.

With rising healthcare costs and limited access to necessary services, the Mobility Matters Foundation strives to bridge the gap between accessibility and mobility within the home and community. They work to create a space for those who have limited access to therapy services and those who need assistance with mobility or accessibility related obstacles such as: wheelchair evaluations, transportation, and coordination of services.

Chair Donation

The Mobility Matters Foundation and Sam Natal from Quantum Rehab, delivered this chair to an individual in need. Thank you to Sam and Quantum for donating a chair to a person living in a Skilled Nursing Facility. When a person is living in a SNF, they are not eligible for a chair paid by insurance, but by the facility. In most cases, facilities will not pay for a new wheelchair. Thank you to both LimbTech and Quantum for providing this person in need with the equipment to help live a better quality of life!

Chair Donation

Aaron, an individual with a C6 spinal cord injury, lives at Pisgah Manor Nursing home. He has been in the same chair for over 10 years. His current chair was not meeting his medical needs and was falling apart. Thanks to the generosity of the Mobility Matters Foundation and Quantum Rehab, he was able to get a brand new wheelchair with all seat functions. These seat functions will help Aaron increase participation in everyday tasks and quality of life.
